The U10 Hurlers had their first Hurling Challenge game of the season last night in Mackey Park where they hosted Adare in 2 games of hurling. There was a super turnout of 21 players. Liam and Sean looked after one of the Ahane teams with Brendan and Eugene mentoring the other team. Both of the Ahane teams played really well on the night against 2 strong Adare teams and there was nothing between any of the teams over the 2 games of 20 minutes each. It was great to see the boys displaying many of the skills that they have been practising in training over the last few weeks of ground hurling, hooking, blocking and taking some fine scores. Well done boys and a big thank you to Adare U10 hurlers for 2 fantastic and sporting games.
