The U10 Hurlers were in Harty Park, Murroe last night for 2 highly competitive and entertaining games against our near neighbours Murroe-Boher in a warm evening for hurling. A total of 25 of the Ahane U10 panel turned up last night and the mentors of both clubs decided to have the U10 players from Ahane playing against the U10 players from Murroe/Boher and the U9 players playing against their opposite U9 players. The games were 25 minutes each half and there were fine skills and commitment shown by the players over the course of the 50 minute games. The pitch was in excellent condition which made for very skilful, flowing and enjoyable hurling. A big thank you to Murroe/Boher GAA for hosting the Ahane U10 players and mentors last evening.
