The Ahane U12 Football team took part in the Football Finals day in Rathkeale earlier today. After a great season in the regular league, we had 16 players in Neville Park to take part in the end of season blitz. The team had 2 games against Croom and Ballybrown and put in a huge effort over the course of the 2 games. Led by Captain today Kyle Furlong (and Mayo fan!!) the team thoroughly enjoyed the day and played some great football over the course of the 2 games. Well done to a very special U12 squad and group and to the players who took part today - David, Darragh, James D, John, Kyle, Adam, Will, Stephen, Jack, James O'M, Cathal, Jamie, Ciaran, Devon, Sean and Ryan. A big thank you to all the U12 footballers from all the U12 Mentors on your commitment and enthusiasm over the course of the season.
