Our U12 Hurlers wrapped up the seasons hurling series of games last evening with a trip to Knocklong to take part in two very competitive games of hurling in the U12 Finals day. We had 15 players on the night taking part in two great games against Caherline and Monaleen. Both games were very sporting and there were plenty of fine scores, skill and entertainment for the many supporters who turned on the night to roar on the U12 team. There was nothing between any of the teams with the boys losing to Caherline after a great tussle in the first game and coming out on top over our near neighbours Monaleen in the second game. Well done to Ciaran, Sean, Stephen, Jamie, James O'M, Cathal, Kyle, Darragh, David, James D, Will, Tony, Ben, James R and Jack. A big thank you and well done to all at Limerick GAA for a very well run evening in Knocklong and 2 great games for the Ahane players which were played under lights which added greatly to the occasion for the players.
