Ahane GAA Club Chairman Colm Barry, Club Secretary Mary Ryan along with Limerick GAA County Chairman Oliver Mann presented Tom Morrissey who was Captain of the Limerick All Ireland U21 Hurling Champions with a framed and engraved photo last evening on the occasion of the visit of the victorious U21 team and management to Mackey Park.  Team Manager Pat Donnelly, his management team and a large group of the U21 players were given a massive reception in Ahane GAA Club last evening to celebrate their wonderful run of victories in the Munster campaign, leading on to wins over Galway and then Kilkenny in the All Ireland U21 Final.  Well done to Pat, the management and backroom team including Ahane clubman Denis Murrihy, and the entire U21 Limerick hurling squad led by our own Ahane club man Tom Morrissey on a wonderful and successful year.  A big thank you and congratulations to the full U21 squad and especially to Tom from all at Ahane GAA Club on your fantastic achievement and your efforts with the club and for taking time to visit the boys and girls in Castleconnell NS, Lisnagry NS, Ahane NS, everyone in Ahane GAA and many others in the parish.
