Ahane GAA Club were delighted to receive a large donation of gaelic footballs from SuperValu which will be put to good use by all the underage boys and girls in the club.  As a sponsor of the GAA All-Ireland Football Championships, SuperValu launched a "BehindTheBall" promotion over the summer donating "First Touch" footballs to clubs across the country.  Through the initiative, SuperValu customers received "BehindTheBall" tokens which they could allocate to GAA clubs of their choice.  A big thank you to all those who generously gave their tokens to Ahane GAA Club at the collection point in SuperValu Castleconnell.  Pictured at the recent handing over of the footballs and other GAA gear were SuperValu staff and players from Ahane Bord na nOg.
