Mackey Park : Storm Ophelia : As a result of the storm, both pitches are closed for safety reasons due to damage to the poles and nets behind the goals closest to the Clubhouse.  We ask everybody to please take notice of the signs indicating that the area is closed and do not go on the pitch area until the area has cleared for use. More photos can be found on AhaneGaa.ie/photos/storm damage

U13 Football League : The U13 Football team had a great win over St. Patrick’s in the league last week scoring an impressive 5-3 on the night.  Next up is a league game v Oola on Wednesday 25th October.

Congratulations : Well done to the Ladies U14 Football team who were crowned U14 League champions on Sunday last with a great win over St. Ailbes.  The players put on a brilliant display of football throughout the match to win on a scoreline of 2-8 to 2-5.

As Gaeilge : Bhí an mí adh ar fhoireann camógaíochta Atháin Dé Domhnaigh 15ú i Mungairit nuair a bhí an bua ag Greanach/Baile ab Gharraí orthu i gcluiche ceannais an chontae. An scór: Atháin 0-9 Greanach/Baile an Gharraí 0-17.  Cé go raibh “muintir an iarthair” níos láidre an uair seo níl aon dabht ann ach go bhfuil Atháin ag éirí agus tar éis an sraith a bhuachaint i mbliana, ní fada go mbeidh siad ar bharr an chrainn arís. Maith sibh!

U10 : U10 Hurling training commenced in UL North Pavilion on Tuesday 24th October with a challenge game  v Newport.  Training continues in UL on Tuesday evenings from 6.30pm-8pm for the next few weeks.

U8 : The Indoor hurling for the group continues on Monday evenings from 6pm-7pm at Delta Sports for the next few weeks.
