We had a fantastic turnout last evening in Ahane GAA Clubhouse to celebrate and recognise the super year that the U8, U10 and U12 players had during 2017.  The evening was led by MC and outgoing Chairman of Bord na nOg, Brian O'Mara who put in another memorable performance.  He was very well supported by Gina and Linda who again put in all the hard work to organise the evening and ensure that everything was arranged with absolute perfection - thank you to these 2 fantastic ladies and gentleman who have put in a huge effort over the year in their roles as Secretary, Assistant Secretary and Chairman of Ahane GAA Bord na nOg.  We will miss all your hard work and support in 2018 as part of the Bord na nOg core committee but we are delighted that you will all continue to play an active role as part of a wider Bord na nOg group in 2018.  The players had a memorable evening and got to see many action shots / photos taken during the year of the groups and all the players last evening were presented with a hurling grip, gaelic football and goody bag in recognition of the great efforts this year.  Thank you to Colm Barry Chairman of Ahane GAA Club for his support on the night and his recognition of the great work done at Bord na nOg - the future is bright.  Colm presented Brian with a small token to reflect his 10 year contribution to Ahane GAA as Chairman / Secretary of Bord na nOg.  A massive thank you to all who supported last evening in providing tea/coffee, biscuits and to parents and others who participated in making the end of year night a great success for the children. Well done and we look forward to seeing you all in 2018 for another season of GAA.
