Ahane Camogie Club is holding a 24-hour Spinaton, from 12:30pm on Saturday the 23rd December. We will have teams on turbo bikes outside the Shannon Inn in Castleconnell.

The event will start with a warm up with Ritchie Clifford. There will be lots of novelty races, for example, mother against daughter, family against family, and oldest against youngest.

We will have carol singing, music, and entertainment during the day. We will have teas and coffees, and refreshments available throughout the event.

There will be collectors in the village and buckets in the local shops.

Donations can also be made on the Ahane Camogie Facebook page. We are raising funds for the Camogie Club and for the Castleconnell, Ahane, and Montpelier Care of the Aged.
