On Tuesday 22nd May, our under 14 girls took to the field in Croagh, to play the 'A' League Final against Crecora. The first point of game came from the Crecora girls. Ciara O scored a goal in the 11th minute which put Ahane/MB on the scoreboard. Ahane/MB showed great team work and inter-linking play. Niamh scored from both play and frees and Éle scored from play making the half time score Ahane/MB 1:05 to Crecora 0:01.

Ahane/MB and Crecora came out in the second half and both teams showed great skill. Niamh again was accurate from both frees and play. Ella scored a wonderful point that came from a wonderful stream of passes, it was definitley the score of the game. Ahane/MB showed great defensive work and managed to hold Crecora to 1-1 in the second half. An excellent save from goalkeeper Sophie epitomised the team's defensive work! The game came to a close on the scoreline of Ahane/MB 1-09 to Crecora 1-02

We would like to congratulate both teams on a great display of camogie this evening.
