The Ahane Junior Football team had a great win this afternoon when they were victorious over South Liberties in the East Junior Football Semi-Final. The players and squad put in a great effort over the course of the game and won on a score-line of 2-08 to 3-03. The team played a lovely brand of football but it was the high level of work rate, commitment and support to each other that ensured the team got through to the East Junior Championship Final. The final will be against Kilteely - date and venue to be confirmed. A big thank you to our supporters who came out tonight to roar the team on - it made a huge difference and the players and management made particular reference to the support after the game : see you all at the East Final.
