Excitement is mounting around the parish as next Saturday nights final of the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Stake is eagerly awaited .

Trained by that most astute of Co Limerick trainers ,Pat Buckley from Doon (brother of Country & Western star Jimmy) ,Bocko is drawn in the difficult ' coffin ' Trap 4 in the final but such is his extraordinary early pace that Pat doesn't think the draw will inconvenience him .

A massive crowd ,now known as Bockos Army,is expected from the parish next Saturday night at Limerick Greyhound Stadium as Bocko bids to win his proud owners €80000 and Ahane GAA a very useful €10000
