Our U12 Hurlers travelled to Adare last evening for a challenge game ahead of the start of the U12 Hurling league next week. The pitch in Adare was in excellent condition and despite the cold evening, there was some fine hurling from both Ahane and Adare teams and there was nothing between the teams at the end of the match after a highly entertaining and free flowing game. The Ahane players combined very well to score 4-12 over the hour of hurling which is very positive at the start of the season - well done to all 16 players last night. A big thank you to Bill Heffernan, mentors and the Adare U12 players and Adare referee for a very sporting and competitive game. We look forward to seeing you back in Ahane later in the season for another entertaining challenge game.
Hurling training continues in Ahane on Friday 6.30-7.30pm with the U12 Hurling League game away to Na Piarsaigh on Thursday next week 04th May.
