The U12 Hurlers had the support from 2 of the Ahane Senior Hurlers last evening at the training session.  Tom Doheny and Dan Morrissey led the training session from 6:30-8pm and showed the players some new and interesting drills which will no doubt improve the skills of the group over the coming weeks.  The players worked on hand passes, short passing drills, jab lifting, roll lifting, catching and striking the sliotar on the run.  The players enjoyed a question and answer session with Dan and Tom after training.  There were a number of questions from the players to Dan on his Limerick Hurling experiences and to Tom and Dan on their favorite players and hurling teams, most difficult opponents, time spent training, etc. The players wished both of the Senior players and the Ahane Senior team the very best this coming weekend against near neighbours Doon in the 1st round of the Senior Hurling Championship.
