TOM MESKELL INAUGURAL MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT 2018
Forty years ago, the Meskell family and Ahane Gaa were shocked by the untimely passing of Tom Meskell.

All GAA Clubs rely on dedicated volunteers, Ahane were blessed by having a mentor and coach to our underage and adult teams for many years such as Tom.

It was no coincidence that Tom passed away doing what he loved best, he fell ill in a dressing room in Caherconlish prior to a Senior hurling match forty years ago.

THe Meskell family wish to celebrate Tom’s contribution to Ahane GAA by sponsoring the “Tom Meskell Inaugural Memorial Tournament 2018” which will be a a Senior Hurling Tournament held at Mackey Park, Newgarden on the weekend of ‪March 10th and 11th .‬

The semi-finals will be played ‪on Saturday 10th March‬ at 2.30pm and 4pm with the final scheduled for Sunday ‪March 11th at 12pm. ‬
