We faced Ballybricken last Friday evening in the first round of the Championship in Cappamore. Early in the game the heavens opened as forecasted. The torrential rain that ensued made hurling conditions difficult to say the least.
The Bally boys were indeed ahead at the break when the referee Morgan O’Sullivan had no choice but to abandon the game given the ever deteriorating conditions.
The game will be re-fixed for a future date.
