The Ahane U14 Hurlers enjoyed a fantastic day out today in Coolderry, Co. Offaly at the Regional Feile Hurling games. The young Ahane players got to test their hurling skills over the course of 4 competitive games against Rockwell/Rosegreen from Tipperary, Eire Og Chorra Choill from Kildare, O'Callaghans Mills/Bodyke from Clare and Castleknock from Dublin and had a super day out. A huge congratulations to Coolderry GAA club on hosting a magnificent occasion for all the young players and ensuring that they all enjoyed a day that they will never forget. The pitches were in magnificent condition, games ran to schedule with excellent referees and Coolderry provided hot food, teas and coffee and refreshments for all the players, mentors and supporters. The Ahane team can be very proud of their display on the day with the young team made up of 2 U14 players, 11 U13 players and 2 U12 players - well done from all the mentors on your super commitment and teamwork over the 4 games. A big shout out to Adam, Craig, Colm, Kyle, James O'M, Stephen, Sean, Donnacha, David, Jack, Will, Ryan, Harry, Darragh and Cathal on your efforts and a great day out in Offaly.
