Well done and a huge congratulations to our U12 Hurler - John O'Connor - who won the Limerick County Community Games Long Puck competition last weekend which was held at Mungret GAA.  John is a key member of the Ahane U12 squad and he superbly turned on the style in the competition to shoot and reach a puc of 72 metres with the sliotar.  His parents Linda and Brendan and indeed all of the U12 squad and members of Ahane Bord na nOg were thrilled with the fantastic achievement from one of our skilled and very popular hurlers.  John will represent Limerick in the National Poc Fada competition during August.  All the very best in the National Competition John from all in Ahane GAA Club - Ahane abu!!!!
