There was a super start to the Ahane GAA Cul Camp earlier today in Mackey Park. The weather played it's part and ensured that all the boys and girls had a fantastic day of GAA, fun and loads of good conversation and laughter. A big thank you to all coaches, parents, mentors and everyone who helped out with registration, traffic duties, lunch time, organisation and other support to ensure a very successful day was had by all the children taking part. There was even time during the day for the boys and girls to take a little break to discuss loads of GAA stories including Hurling, Camogie and Gaelic Football - no doubt the performance of the 2 Ahane Senior Hurlers (Dan and Tom) and indeed all of the Limerick Senior team in the win over Carlow on Saturday evening and the upcoming game against the Kilkenny "cats" next weekend as well as the efforts of the 2 Ahane Minors (Padraig and Andrew) and all the Limerick Minors in their loss to Galway and the upcoming game for the Minors also against Kilkenny raised some interesting debates. See you all tomorrow in Mackey Park.
