The Castleconnell/ Ahane/ Mountpelier Cancer support group are holding their first fundraiser on Friday 27th of July.

The group hope to raise funds to assist families in our community who are being impacted by a cancer diagnosis to the extent that routine household management and individual wellbeing is undermined.

Our fundraising event is the first ever walk through our very own bog. We would very much appreciate if you could promote this community event through your social media platforms. #communitysupportingoneanother#cancersupport

On a more practical level. To uphold the community spirit. We are requesting local sports club members to take part in the “bog walk” wearing their club jerseys. We would appreciate and welcome your support in this.
