On Tuesday night last, our Junior Football team played their final County Division 4 match at home versus Cappagh. While they were on the wrong end of a 2-14 to 1-08 scoreline, the match was very much in the melting pot until the last 5 minutes when a second goal and some points for Cappagh helped decide the result in their favour.
With Tristan O’Sullivan, John Keane and Andrew Minehan very much to the fore, this was an extremely useful and competitive outing as the team approach their County Junior Championship Round 3 match next week on 16-August against a Ballybricken team also in the hunt for their first win of that campaign.
