The Ahane U14 hurlers advanced to the final of the Division 2 (Plate) after a fine win in the semi-final at Mackey Park last evening. The team produced their best display of the season against a young Patrickswell side who gave their all over the course of the game.
The pitch was in great condition and the 17 Ahane players put in a very committed and spirited performance from the off, gave nothing away at the back and took some great scores. Congratulations to all the players last night who put a lot of effort and energy to get the win and advance to the final – well done Paddy, Ryan, Stephen, Colm, James O’M, Gavin, Cathal, Jack, Ciaran, Craig, John D, David, Sean, Will, Darragh, Harry and Kieran with a special word of thanks to Paddy, Cathal and James for their support to the U13/U14 players.
