The U10 hurlers joined in the feast of hurling in Markey Park on Saturday last (along with the U8 and U12 groups) for a wonderful morning of hurling. There was an amazing turnout of 32 x U9 & U10 players from Ahane which ensured there were two Ahane team taking part and there were strong visiting teams from Newtownshandrum, Murroe-Boher, Sixmilebridge and Ballina.

There was non-stop entertainment all morning with the players from all teams displaying fantastic skills who gave their all in fair, open and committed hurling. A special thank you to the parents and supporters for coming out on Saturday morning to cheer on the Ahane players. The players have put in huge efforts over recent weeks on the training field (and at home) and the mentors were delighted with the display of the 2 Ahane teams on the day – well done boys.

The U10 mentors would like to compliment all parents and those who helped to provide a wonderful range of sandwiches, cakes, refreshments and showcase true Ahane hospitality to all players and those visiting Mackey Park.
