Ahane 6-3 St. Ailbes 1-9

Congratulations to Ahane ladies footballers who were crowned Junior B Cup Champions on Monday evening last.

In a very competitive and exciting first half, both sides took some excellent scores with St Ailbes leading by a point at half time. In the second half both sides again gave an excellent display of defending and score taking, Ahane were the more clinical and pulled away to leave the final score: Ahane 6-3 St Ailbes 1-9. After the game Maria Sheehan, Limerick Co Board presented the Cup to the Ahane Captain Niamh Martin. Well done to all the players on their fantastic display and everyone who came to support the girls on the night.
