A big WELL DONE and CONGRATULATIONS to Anton Donohoe and John O'Connor who represented Ahane Bord na nOg / GAA Club on Saturday night last when they took part in the Limerick GAA / Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Stake - CIC & Puc Fada competition. The annual event at Limerick Greyhound Stadium was for U12 players from GAA clubs in Limerick who competed against each other with 3 efforts to get a sliotar / football as far as possible. Anton and John represented the club very well with Anton coming fourth in the CIC Fada and John claiming first place in the Puc Fada. Roared on by proud parents and supporters on the night, Anton and John did fantastically well in 2 highly competitive events and were delighted with their results. Thank you to Noel Hartigan and all at Limerick GAA for another well run event - the players also had the opportunity to meet the Rose of Tralee and Limerick Rose who also presented the winners with their prizes.
