Ahane Senior Hurlers

We make their 2019 championship bow this Friday 12th in Claughaun vs Monaleen at 6:30pm. With two group games before the break for Inter-county action, the lads will be hoping to hit the ground running this year and take full points against their neighbours Monaleen. The team have new management on board for 2019, with former player Davy Givens having taken up the hot-seat as manager, along with Donnach O’Donnell as coach and former senior players Conor Quirke and Sean Madden making up a strong backroom team, while the ever impressive Evan Enright captains the team.

The panel has been bolstered by the addition of some of the current crop of minors as well as recent U21 members who will no doubt be pushing for places in 2019.

We wish the squad and management the very best of luck and ask the club supporters to get behind this group by making the short trip into Childers Road and turning out in strong support for this first round game.
