On Saturday, a strong U6 squad of 30 took part in very well organized blitz hosted by Newcastlewest GAA at the magnificent facility at Maguires Pitches in UL. Newcastlewest & Cratloe provided the opposition.

We fielded 7 teams who each played 4 matches of 12 minutes each. All players got plenty of ball time and there were lots of fantastic displays of ground hurling drawing great praise from mentors. We are very lucky to have great coaches (& always looking for more!) and parents willing to help out, ensuring all the players get the best foundation for their hurling in a fun environment.
