Ahane GAA Bord na nOg were delighted to welcome current Limerick Senior Hurling Goalkeeping coach Timmy Houlihan to Mackey Park last Monday evening to do a coaching session with our up and coming net minders from U9 to U17 in both hurling and camogie.

Timmy took 2 separate groups and went through some of the key elements required to be a good goalkeeper including footwork, handling, positioning and puck outs.

The session was extremely well received by all players and mentors alike. We would like to thank Timmy for his time and enthusiasm and hope that this session will inspire the future Nicky Quaid’s of Limerick hurling!
