The U11 Hurlers hosted a friendly game against South Liberties on Tuesday night in Mackey Park and all the players put in a credible performance to take a 2 point win after a thoroughly entertaining game of hurling.

The 13-a- side game was full of thrills and spills coupled with some quality hurling, resolute defending and excellent scores and both teams must be complimented on their commitment with tough but fair hurling over the course of the 20 minutes a side game.

Thanks to mentors Liam, Brendan and Martin for looking after the team on the night with Brendan also doubling up to also take up the referee duties!!!!!. The mentors complimented all the U11 players on their improvement over recent weeks which was evident on Tuesday evening and thanked all parents and supporters for encouraging the players during the game.
