The U6 group had their end of year hurling and camogie training session last night after what has been a very busy, entertaining and positive start for all the boys and girls. We had almost 60 boys and girls at training last evening in Lisnagry NS.

The mentors would like to thank Adam Murrihy for coming along to present medals to all of the children and for his positive words of encouragement and good wishes to all the girls and boys.

Over the course of the U6 GAA year in Ahane, there has been plenty of great fun and friendly banter between all those taking part and it seems last night was no different ----- although it is reported that the best fun for all the young children and indeed parents and supporters was the enjoyment trying to find shelter from the rain showers in the bike shed !!!!
