The U12 group had their final end of year hurling match yesterday with an away trip against Clare Galway / Carnmore GAA Club. The game turned out to be a very entertaining game with very little between the sides over the course of 2 x 25 minutes with Ahane taking some great scores in the second half to get a very good win against an impressive Galway team.

The U12 mentors would like to thank Sean Carey for taking care of refereeing duties in his usual partial and encouraging style to all players on the pitch.

Liam, Brendan and Eugene were also very complimentary of the hospitality of Clare Galway / Carnmore GAA mentors and supporters for all those who travelled to Carnmore - there was a very friendly welcome and a fine array of tea, coffee, sandwiches and cakes and treats for all players and supporters after the game.
