After a difficult few months for our community and the entire country Ahane GAA is making plans in accordance with the Safe Return to Gaelic Games directive from Croke Park to get training back up and running for our underage players.
Huge efforts have been made by the mentors in each age group to keep the kids focused and involved in Gaelic games with online challenges and zoom training sessions. These online training sessions will continue for the next few weeks and all in Bord na nÓg are hugely grateful for the assistance and encouragement provided by parents who have facilitated these efforts.
Plans are being made for on pitch training to resume as soon as possible. This of course requires the Club to put measures in place for player, coach and parent safety and we appreciate your patience while we do this.
It is a requirement of Croke Park that all players, including underage, have to be fully paid up members of their Club to enter club grounds and resume training. With this in mind we are asking all those who have yet to pay the registration fees for 2020 for their children/families to do so. This will help us get everyone back out there safely and as soon as possible.
