In advance of our upcoming championship matches, our under 14 football team played their second challenge game against a Monaleen representative team last Wednesday night. Wet conditions didn’t deter both sides playing some excellent football that was enjoyed by all present.
Ahane boys really showed up & their work rate & team work was fantastic. We had scores in each quarter with all scores coming from play, good hand passing, tackling & super saves by Cian O’Leary. Well done to Jamie Conway who scored 4 of our goals and a shout out to Conor Ryan displaying some great skill & determination throughout the game. Well done boys on a superb team effort all round!
The u14 mentors would like to thank all our parents for their support , Ann Ryan our Covid Supervisor on the night, Linda O'Connor & the Football committee for managing the evening’s football events.
Championship matches have started in hurling and football begins on the 12th August. If anyone would like more information, please reach out to Linda O'Connor at secretarybng.ahane.limerick@gaa.ie
