Ahane U11/12 football team had their first outing of the league campaign this evening and put in a super display against a fine Monaleen (white) team.

Ahane had 22 players on the night and there was some super play and teamwork between the players during the course of the game to take a fine win. Ahane would like to compliment Monaleen on a very sporting match from their young players and referee Mark Murphy for his professional handling of the game and wish Monaleen all the very best for the rest of the league.

The mentors would like to thank all who helped out with the game in Mackey Park - Covid supervisors, parking, first aid, umpires and all parents for supporting the team.
