And finally....after a long hard few months we’re back!

Ahane Bord na nÓg were absolutely delighted to welcome back our underage players on the 26th April 2021, an absolutely glorious sunny Monday evening. Our under 9s hurlers were the first group out and they were closely followed by the u11 hurlers.

All the kids were delighted to be back as were the mentors. Huge credit to those volunteers who look after our pitches they are in a wonderful condition and it did the heart good to see balls being pucked out on the grass. All our age groups return to play over the next week.

We would not be back if it were not for the hard work of our committee and particularly Mary Hassett , Linda O’Connor, Gina Hourigan and all our Covid supervisors whose volunteering is hugely appreciated.
