The Limerick minor football team had a win in their Munster championship game against Tipperary on Wednesday evening at the LIT Gaelic Grounds.
Our own Ruairi Cronin from Ahane played at full forward and he helped Limerick gain a 2-9 to 1-9 victory. Ruairi did well in the first half to block down a clearance from the Tipperary goalkeeper which led to the first goal and he got on the scoresheet himself in the second half with a fine goal.
Limerick advance to the Munster semi final and will play Clare in Ennis on Friday July 30 - we hope all goes well for the players and management team.
